1 Corinthians 13:13

13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is LOVE.

So here we have it…. our final reminder as we finish this beautiful passage, there is NOTHING greater than Love!  It goes further than our hopes, our dreams, and the things we believe… It truly can’t be compared with anything else, because it stands alone as the GREATEST!

I’ll be the first to admit that reading this passage and being reminded of what Love truly is, seems a bit challenging…. ok, not just a bit… IT’S A CHALLENGE!!! But, the beauty is that we don’t need to rely solely upon ourselves to figure out how to Love the way we’ve been instructed here.

Learning to Love is a journey and if anything, I believe this passage is a reminder to each of us, of the areas we need to focus on in our lives that’s lacking in the area of Love.  Instead of being discouraged or disappointed with ourselves I believe we should be inspired …. inspired to keep on loving, and to focus on the perfect example of what True Love really is – God!

Today is Valentine’s Day – The day scheduled for ‘Celebrating Love’, and I believe that no matter the status, or the situation, there is someone in your life that would appreciate a little more Love… So let today be the day YOU give a little more of it!

  • Say something nice to a co-worker
  • Smile at a stranger you wouldn’t normally pay any mind
  • Give someone a BIG hug, or a kiss
  • Say the words ‘I LOVE YOU’ to someone

Don’t forget that when we focus on spreading and giving Love, God is faithful in showering us with more Love than we know what to do with.

You Are Loved!!!! Now don’t be greedy… GO SHARE IT!!!

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
