Today’s date is December 6th, and it really has been quite a battle staying on top of healthy eating. I would say that the struggle has been a difficult one, and unfortunately this month I didn’t see any change in my weight since the beginning of November.
- Am I disappointed? YES!!!
- Have I regretted even starting blogging about my journey towards healthier eating? YES!!!
- Have I considered just deleting all the posts I’ve written so far and just pretending I’d never written anything? YES!!!
- Will I give up on my goal, and switch my energies and efforts onto other more seemingly attainable things? NO!!!!
I am determined to get a handle on this healthier eating thing! I am focused now on breaking years and years of bad eating habits, and this is VERY tough stuff, but I’m not giving up on myself or my Goal!
I am happy to report that over the past 3 days I have done exceptionally well with my eating, and have been able to resist binging on junk/treats and resisted eating after 9pm. I’ve felt very good about my achievements over the past several days, and have been writing/logging my thoughts about how it feels to be able to fulfill my goal for each day!
I’m focused on taking one day at a time, instead of thinking about what I want to achieve in one month, or one week. I realize that’s a bit too overwhelming for me, so I’m just taking it one day at a time, and so far… so good!!!
Yaaaaay me!!! And yaaay God for giving me the strength to stay true to the daily goal I’ve set over the past 3 days.
