Stage Five: Maintenance

Maintenance is the stage that requires that you RESIST the temptation to fall back into old habits, or past ways of doing things before you made the change.  In order to be successful in this stage you will be required to continually check in with how you are doing, anticipate potential areas of temptation, and make a plan for avoiding old habits.

Thinking ahead, strategizing plans to avoid potential failure, thinking positive, and continuing to make whatever additional changes necessary to support all the hard work that has been made to get to a place of change are all ways to acheive success in the maintenance stage.
