Get back on the bandwagon

Wow… Ok… so… It’s been a week since my last blog entry!

I decided to take a WELL needed break from blogging after the Woman of Worth Conference on Saturday June 25th, 2011.  I was so exhausted once the day was complete that I just hit a wall, and realized that my mind as well as my body needed a WELL deserved break!

BUT… Now I’m back and excited to get back on the ’blogging’ band wagon.  I must admit that it didn’t take too long to fall out of my daily habit of writing/blogging, and I was surprised at how easy it was (after having developed the daily discipline) to just let 1 day of rest turn into 7.  So it got me thinking about how easy it is to fall out of healthy habits we spend soooo much time working on developing.  It could be going to the gym, reading more, healthier eating… whatever it is, the fact is breaking out of a discipline isn’t as hard as you might think it might be.

So… My little encouragement for anyone reading this that may have fallen off the bandwagon of ‘whatever’ discipline/healthy habit you’ve been working on, DON’T BE DISCOURAGED… and don’t think it’s too late to pick yourself back up again and get back to it!  Stop making excuses… don’t believe the lie that it’s too late, or whatever discouraging thought might be stopping you from getting back on… AND JUST DO IT!
