When the world says, “Give up,”
Hope whispers, “Try it one more time.”

Never lose sight of Hope…. Life without it is pretty bleak.  Hope is that little glimmer of light when you are standing in a dark tunnel feeling like the darkness is going to over take you.

Sometimes when things get that dark we don’t even see the light with our natural eyes, but somewhere inside you sense that a light will soon appear to ease some of the heavy darkness.  THAT (in my opinion) is a definition of hope… believing that some way some how things WILL turn around and get better.

One thing that I have learned to do when things look discouraging and overwhelming is to begin that thank God for the change/improvement I’m hoping for.  I don’t just thank God and stop doing what I need to; I thank God as I press forward with whatever difficult task I’m struggling with.  Fact is that if we are going to see success we’ve got to keep plugging away at our tasks.

What I am encouraging is that in the midst of your struggle you take a deep breath and begin to say ‘Thank you God for the resolution/success/change that I am in need of’.  Doing this small gesture (I have found) helps grow your sense of hope, as well as motivates you to KEEP ON GOING….

No matter how difficult or impossible your task/goal looks… start Thanking God for the resolution of the issue, or the completion of the task/accomplishment of the goal
